CASCAD Decontamination Foam contains a proprietary foaming agent and decontaminating material that will encase a suspected CW or BW agent contamination site and then remove and destroy any agents present. CASCAD closes over the contamination to eliminate agent off-gassing and associated downwind hazards – especially important when evaluating subsequent contamination sites or a series of vehicles where the line is oriented to progress in an upwind direction. For decontamination of various surfaces, CASCAD foam is easily applied and adheres to vertical or inverted surfaces. Its distinctive, thick appearance provides a clear indication of surface area coverage, allowing the user to be more time and material efficient. CASCAD has fire suppressant properties and can be used in the same manner as typical firefighting foams. The decontaminants present will destroy nerve agents, vesicants and biological agents. |
