The CASCAD decontaminant contains special surfactants that even pull agents out of paint to ensure they are completely destroyed. CASCAD has been tested against live agents in the field and in the laboratory to verify its effectiveness. The ability to offer decontamination of a typical armoured battalion in under four hours, using seawater if necessary, with a decontaminant that although it has minimal environmental impact kills all known Agents quickly and effectively, is unmatched by any other known system.

The CASCAD system is easy to transport and set up, and Vanguard can provide training in all aspects of its use, either in Canada or at the users facility. The use of a relatively benign decontaminant, combined with a low pressure application system, means that CASCAD offers the ideal solution to the problems inherent in decontamination of modern combat aircraft.

CASCAD's unique ability to use salt water to produce its sticky decontaminating foam provides an answer to naval decontamination needs, where either shipboard or dockside decontamination stations can be used to ensure complete coverage.
